Membership

Eligibility

Any Individual (Post graduate and above) who is interested in palaeontology and allied fields, or who has relevant work experience or training in geology-related fields, is eligible to become a member of the Society.

Benefits/Privileges

Members are welcome to participate in the Society's meetings and lectures. Fellows shall have the right to vote, nominate candidates, and stand for election to the various offices of the Society. Members have open access to the journal of the Society (JPSI).

Membership Fee

Annual Membership:

• Every Indian Fellow shall, upon admission, pay an admission fee of Rs. 500/- and an annual fee of Rs. 1,000/-.
• Every Foreign Fellow shall pay an admission fee of US$ 15 and an annual fee of US$ 40.

Life Membership:

Any Fellow may become a Life Fellow of the Society upon payment of Rs. 8,000/-, in addition to an admission fee of Rs. 500/- for Indian nationals or US$ 220 for foreign nationals.

How to Apply

Duly filled membership form along with CV should be sent to the Secretary, The Palaeontological Society of India, through email (psi1950.lko@gmail.com with a copy to anju_saxena@bsip.res.in) or hard copy. The fee may be paid after the confirmation from the competent authority. The form and payment details are available on the website under the 'Members' tab.
